Paramedical micropigmentation is a combination of techniques used to mitigate the effects of injuries, surgeries, birth defects, or simple aging. Scarring, discoloration or hair loss can result from these conditions, and revision or camouflage of these areas can be effective in restoring the client’s sense of self-esteem.
Scar Camouflage: This technique uses a medical grade tattoo machine to implant skin colored inks into the skin in order to camouflage or blend the scar area into the natural skin surrounding it.
Areola Pigmentation: We know that breast appearance can greatly affect a woman’s self-confidence; therefore, we strive to create a natural-looking areola using several colors and shading techniques to create the illusion of a 3D nipple. Whether you have had a mastectomy and were left with no nipple, had breast reconstruction and are left with scars, or simply would like to alter the size and color of your natural areola we can help. If you’re over the age of 18, you can click here to see an example of areola pigmentation.
Scalp Micropigmentation: This procedure is similar to eyeliner or eyebrow tattooing, where very fine needles are used to implant pigment directly into the scalp, creating the illusion of thicker, fuller hair in sparse or thin areas. If you are starting to thin or recede this can restore the look of fuller hair. For completely bald areas, this can give the look of a short buzz cut.
Because of the wide variety of situations covered under these procedures, pricing is based on the estimated number of treatments and the scope of the work required. Please contact me for a consultation about any paramedical procedures.
