Although anyone can take the course, it is the student’s responsibility to check on local state laws for legal and licensing requirements. Tennessee requires permanent cosmetic artists to be a licensed tattoo artist or work directly under a medical director. Lasting Impressions Permanent Cosmetics also offers the twelve-month apprenticeship required by the State of Tennessee in order to receive your tattoo license.
BASIC PERMANENT COSMETICS COURSE: $2500.00
Learn the fundamentals of the art of permanent cosmetics. This information-packed class includes step-by-step instructions, hands-on procedures and live demonstrations of permanent eyebrow, eyeliner, and lip procedures. Lessons include sanitation, biosafety, color theory, skin structure, eyebrow shaping, procedure post care, marketing strategies and more. We provide ongoing technical support to you after your graduation to ensure you master the skills necessary to become successful in your new career.
BASIC MICROBLADING COURSE: $800.00
It doesn’t matter if you like them arched and feathered or straight and bold, eyebrows are arguably the most important facial feature. If you’re not satisfied with the ones you have, now there’s a very natural option that delivers permanent results- microblading. Unlike some of the extreme effects of permanent makeup, microblading is a more natural embroidery-style of strokes that look more like real hair. Microblading is the hottest technique in permanent makeup because every hair on the eyebrow is drawn individually, which makes the eyebrows look as natural as possible.
12 MONTH APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM: $3000.00 to be paid in monthly installments of $250.00 for 12 months.
The apprenticeship program consists of a twelve-month period of training and supervision required by the State of Tennessee in order to become a licensed tattoo artist. During this apprenticeship the student is required to complete a minimum of twenty-five procedures under supervision. At the end of the twelve-month period if the apprentice has completed the requirement, then Lasting Impressions Permanent Cosmetics will sign the required forms to ensure the apprentice is licensed. The apprentice is required to pay all expenses related to the apprenticeship license.
